Based on the CrossFit prescription of “constantly varied functional movement executed at high intensity,” our CrossFit program combines strength training with the “classic” CrossFit cardio workout. For this 1-hour class, you could be working on pull-ups, rowing, weight lifting, burpees, and much more. Every WOD is different so you never get bored! Plus, we scale each workout to your fitness level, so you get the maximum effect every time.
Foundations is required for all people without CrossFit experience.
This a comprehensive program designed to provide you with a complete introduction to CrossFit and optimize your experience while setting you on a path to success. There are six foundations classes included in this course that are comprised of:

All workouts are designed for you to gain strength, mobility, muscle endurance, and specifically to help condition you for the demands of our traditional CrossFit training classes. This is the perfect start for those looking to jump start a new fitness journey!
Every Sunday Morning we offer dedicated class time to help all athletes perfect their form and improve their skill level in both gymnastics and olympic weight lifting.
Gymnastics Skills Class:
Every Sunday, 10:00 – 11:30 AM … come ready to work and build towards your first muscle up!
Barbell Skills Class:
Every Sunday, 11:30 – 1:00 PM … come ready to work on perfecting your form with the barbell!
All Steed Skills classes are programmed in conjunction with and are complimentary to our CrossFit programming.

Nothing gets you to your goals faster than personal training. Our experienced coaches will dive into your specific needs and work 1-on-1 with you to create optimal workouts to drive your success. Personal Training is available upon member request.
We offer different Strength and Conditioning programs for youth of different ages at CrossFit Steed as well. Our coaches have programmed for and worked with kids of all ages, anywhere from 8 years old to 18 years old. Most importantly, our work with those kids is designed primarily on goals that are discussed and set with that athlete and his/her parents.

The best training in the world won’t work without the right nutrition. We’ll help you find the proper diet for your body type, goals, and health needs. If you’re struggling with certain issues, or even if you feel “perfectly healthy,” nutritional coaching is critical to your success in fitness.
CrossFit Kids is not simply a scaled down version of CrossFit; it is entirely and absolutely geared toward kids and their specific developmental needs!
Our CrossFit Kids program teaches proper form and mechanics in functional and athletic movements in classes that are different every day. We teach children to love fitness by placing our emphasis on FUN. Each child is instructed at his to her level, allowing each child to experience challenge and reward every class.
CrossFit Kids physically prepares children for the demands of life by encompassing all ten general physical skills; strength, balance, coordination, flexibility, stamina, speed, agility, power, cardiovascular endurance, and accuracy and is even proven to help improve problem-solving as well as social and cognitive growth by encouraging teamwork.
Our CrossFit Kids classes are appropriate for kids ages 8 to 13 and include a warm-up game, work on two skills, two separate workouts, and every class finishes with a game. Each class lasts approximately 30-45 minutes.

CrossFit Kids is a great way to celebrate a child’s birthday! Kids have been to all types of parties growing up…pool, bowling and ice skating… but almost none have had a CrossFit kids party. CrossFit Steed offers a coaching internship program for athletes that are passionate about CrossFit and are interested in becoming a certified CrossFit Trainer. An intern will spend time assisting with all aspects required of a Level 1 Trainer in an effort to gain invaluable experience interacting with athletes and becoming familiar with a variety of different cues that work for different people in different situations, as well as how to run a group class and foundations.
