At CrossFit Steed, our programming challenges you to do and be better. Each class is taught by qualified fitness professionals with your health and goals in mind. We provide superior physical training, as well as offer nutrition coaching to help ensure maximum results. Check out our amazing courses here.
  • Group CrossFit

    Based on the CrossFit prescription of “constantly varied functional movement executed at high intensity,” our CrossFit program combines strength training with the “classic” CrossFit cardio workout. For this 1-hour class, you could be working on pull-ups, rowing, weight lifting, burpees, and much more. Every WOD is different so you never get bored! Plus, we scale each workout to your fitness level, so you get the maximum effect every time.

  • New Member Foundations

    Foundations is required for all people without CrossFit experience.

    This a comprehensive program designed to provide you with a complete introduction to CrossFit and optimize your experience while setting you on a path to success. There are six foundations classes included in this course that are comprised of:

    • General Session Overview – This includes individual assessments, today’s plan, yesterday’s recap, and a Q&A.
    • “Box-Life” – Insights into common CrossFit practices that will help maximize your experience with us (ie. What is scaling? Do I need to train every day? What is box etiquette?).
    • Teaching – Learn the basics of over 20 fundamental CrossFit movements that you will see some combination of in our programming. Start from the introduction on Day 1 and subsequently build to the most complicated movements by Day 5. Our focus is making sure you know the safest and most efficient way to train.
    • WOD (Workout of the Day) – Every class ends with a workout that incorporates movements you’ve learned that day. It’s meant to give a brief look into what some typical CrossFit WODs might look like in the future.
    • Foundations Classes are offered Saturdays and Sundays and are designed so that you are able to complete all required sessions within two weeks of signing up. These classes are also available on Friday by appointment; all times are generally available. See schedule here. Private foundations sessions are available upon request if conflicts of schedule prevent attendance in weekend classes.

  • CrossFit Conditioning

    CrossFit Conditioning is perfect for new members, beginners, that are still nervous about the demands of group CrossFit classes. We require no CrossFit experience, nor foundations for you to join CrossFit Conditioning.

    All workouts are designed for you to gain strength, mobility, muscle endurance, and specifically to help condition you for the demands of our traditional CrossFit training classes. This is the perfect start for those looking to jump start a new fitness journey!

    CrossFit Conditioning follows the same basic principals of Classic CrossFit programming (Constantly Varied, high intensity, functional movements) except focuses on providing a “lite” version with an added focus on scaled down weights, minimal barbell usage, and building strength in gymnastics/body weight movements.
    • Classes run every weekday Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 8:00am
    • No experience required, must contact to reserve class before attending
  • Sunday Skill Days at Steed

    Every Sunday Morning we offer dedicated class time to help all athletes perfect their form and improve their skill level in both gymnastics and olympic weight lifting.

    Gymnastics Skills Class:
    Every Sunday, 10:00 – 11:30 AM … come ready to work and build towards your first muscle up!

    Barbell Skills Class:
    Every Sunday, 11:30 – 1:00 PM … come ready to work on perfecting your form with the barbell!

    All Steed Skills classes are programmed in conjunction with and are complimentary to our CrossFit programming.

    • $30 per drop in for 1 class, $50 for the day
    • Monthly Membership price for CF members:
    • $30 + added to your CF membership gets you unlimited access each month to 1 of the skills class
    • $50 + added to you CF membership gets you unlimited access each month to both skills classes
    • Non-CF members:
    • $100 per month for unlimited access to 1 skills class
    • $165 per month for unlimited access both skills classes
  • Open Gym

    Did you miss a training session? Need to work on a skill before class? Attack your weaknesses head on, improve your efficiency or hit some WODs. Open Gym allows you to make the most of our tools and fitness community. Put your free time to good use.


    • Open Gym Membership:
    • $125 per month, 12 month contract
  • Personal Training

    Nothing gets you to your goals faster than personal training. Our experienced coaches will dive into your specific needs and work 1-on-1 with you to create optimal workouts to drive your success. Personal Training is available upon member request.

  • Sport Specific Youth Training

    We offer different Strength and Conditioning programs for youth of different ages at CrossFit Steed as well. Our coaches have programmed for and worked with kids of all ages, anywhere from 8 years old to 18 years old. Most importantly, our work with those kids is designed primarily on goals that are discussed and set with that athlete and his/her parents.

    Some of the youth program at CrossFit Steed has been set specifically to the following Sports and/or goals:

    • Athletes just starting High School with aspirations to make it to Varsity Sports teams (including Baseball, football, track & field, Swimming, Soccer, tennis and more!)
    • Athletes currently playing at the varsity level that are looking to improve their abilities in hopes of improving college recruitment or making University/college teams
    • Pre-teens & teens just looking to improve their general health and fitness
    • Pre-teens & teens that may be looking to prevent certain helath issues that is present in their family history (diabetes, obesity… etc)

  • Nutritional Coaching

    The best training in the world won’t work without the right nutrition. We’ll help you find the proper diet for your body type, goals, and health needs. If you’re struggling with certain issues, or even if you feel “perfectly healthy,” nutritional coaching is critical to your success in fitness.

  • CrossFit Kids STEED

    CrossFit Kids is not simply a scaled down version of CrossFit; it is entirely and absolutely geared toward kids and their specific developmental needs!

    Our CrossFit Kids program teaches proper form and mechanics in functional and athletic movements in classes that are different every day. We teach children to love fitness by placing our emphasis on FUN. Each child is instructed at his to her level, allowing each child to experience challenge and reward every class.

    CrossFit Kids physically prepares children for the demands of life by encompassing all ten general physical skills; strength, balance, coordination, flexibility, stamina, speed, agility, power, cardiovascular endurance, and accuracy and is even proven to help improve problem-solving as well as social and cognitive growth by encouraging teamwork.

    Our CrossFit Kids classes are appropriate for kids ages 8 to 13 and include a warm-up game, work on two skills, two separate workouts, and every class finishes with a game. Each class lasts approximately 30-45 minutes.

    CrossFit Kids is a great way to celebrate a child’s birthday! Kids have been to all types of parties growing up…pool, bowling and ice skating… but almost none have had a CrossFit kids party.   • Assistant Coaching/Internship Program

    CrossFit Steed offers a coaching internship program for athletes that are passionate about CrossFit and are interested in becoming a certified CrossFit Trainer. An intern will spend time assisting with all aspects required of a Level 1 Trainer in an effort to gain invaluable experience interacting with athletes and becoming familiar with a variety of different cues that work for different people in different situations, as well as how to run a group class and foundations.

    CrossFit Steed will sponsor your CrossFit Certification if you:

    • come through our internship program as an assistant coach
    • have exemplified the coaching ability and traits we value at CrossFit Steed
    • are committed to joining the CrossFit Steed family after becoming certified

    We highly value continued education of our staff at CrossFit Steed, especially if we can utilize it directly enhance our members’ experience. We encourage all of our coaches (including Assistant coaches in our internship program) the opportunity to present us with ideas for growth, and in return, we offer the opportunity to share in that growth as a partner.

    For example, if you are passionate about creating a CrossFit Kids program, let’s discuss it. How would you do it? Why do you think it’s the right move for grown? How could it fit/enhance or compliment our current services? And it could be anything – from endurance training and mobility to CrossFit striking or Strong Man. If it’s your passion and it fits with CrossFit Steed, we want you to run it as your own business.
